Our experience with the Megalodon 15''
When we first picked up the Megalodon, the thoughtful design was immediately apparent. The frame, weighing 3.59 kilograms, feels indestructible, yet remains surprisingly manageable thanks to the ergonomic pistol grip. The pump-action operates more smoothly than you would expect from such a powerful system. We particularly appreciate the practical manometer on the left side – at a glance, you can see how much pressure is left in the cylinders.
Technology and performance
This PCP air rifle draws its power from a maximum fill pressure of 310 bar. With an output of 214 joules, the Megalodon is among the most powerful air rifles available. The 381mm long barrel ensures excellent precision at long distances. The single-shot loading system is complemented by a practical magazine that can hold 11 rounds. Use and operation
The operation of this air rifle is surprisingly intuitive. You operate the pump-action with one hand while stabilising the rifle with the other – the diagonal grooves on the pump provide extra grip. The single action trigger system ensures a predictable and consistent trigger pull with every shot. On top, you'll find a 22mm Picatinny rail for your preferred rifle scope (mounting rings are included), and the short accessory rail underneath is perfect for a bipod or foregrip.
